Gold Coast Transmissions was founded in January of 1991 with one simple philosophy, which still carries through to today; we wanted to be different from the rest of the world, provide a great quality transmission repair, unparalleled customer service, and all for an unbeatable value.

We began as a two bay transmission repair shop in Davie, FL and in order to accommodate the ever increasing flow of business, we had to expand to six bays within the first year, and then ten bays the following year. In January of 1997 Gold Coast Transmissions reached a milestone when we acquired a 27,000 square foot building in Fort Lauderdale. We installed twenty lifts and called it home!

The quick expansion was the direct result of proper business management, owners and managements’ combined 90 years of industry knowledge, and technical expertise, and most importantly the attention paid to customer service and the never-ending quest to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. Due to the size of our facility and our top of the line equipment, we are able to offer a host of services uncommon in most transmission repair shops, we are even able to rebuild torque converters in house. Our ASE certified transmission repair specialists, some of which have been with us since the beginning, have been trained in automatic and manual transmission rebuilding, as well as general repairs.

Today, Gold Coast Transmissions, along with our satellite shop on 8392 W ST Rd 84 in Davie, is the largest transmission repair shop of its kind in South Florida. All this success enables us to offer a comprehensive extended car repair warranty and transmission repair financing. Of course none of this would have been possible without the trust our customers placed in Gold Coast Transmissions, and their subsequent referrals.
