No one wants a transmission repair at a cost of several thousand dollars. But Gold Coast made the experience as bearable as it possibly could be, starting with a complimentary tow to their facility, Back and forth communication was swift, even instantaeous, throughout. There were no surprises. The shop was the one recommended by my normal mechanic so their reputation wax on the line as well. And Vinnie’s request that they see my car again in two weeks for a follow-up checkup sent me out the door feeling even better. Though I never want to need transmission service again. If I do this us where I’ll bring my car.

Took my 2018 Chevy Silverado with a transmission problem. They rebuilt it and took less than week. Did an awesome job and service was excellent. The manager (Hamilton) was very helpful and did a great job! I highly recommend using them. Price was good.

All businesses have there share of problems and Gold Coast had a lot of issues working on our truck.
It took much longer than any one expected because of one problem or another. After picking up the truck a few times and having to return it and Vinnie trying to repair the problems and get it back to us quite a few months went by and most shops would have walked away and left the customer hanging.
I know after several months of tracing the transmission problem that this truck ended up with Gold Coast did not make a dime on this job , matter of fact I know they lost money but so did I being out a hauler for several months.
But being honest to his word and business practice Vinny and Gold Coast got the truck working great and its back on the road making money.
He has earned our respect and all of our future business, any one we know with a transmission problem we will make sure to send his way.

I must say that after dealing with tons of mechanics for my 2002 Ford E2 50, I will never take my truck anywhere but Gold Coast transmissions! Vinny and the receptionist women along with the amazing mechanics in the back that actually worked on my vehicle are amazing! They are very responsive and no matter how busy they are in the back they always take the time to answer my phone calls and give me an update. Although they do not work Friday Saturday or Sunday with all the issues I had in my truck they worked very diligently and cleaned up the disastrous repairs that other mechanics spent hours to destroy whether it was my transmission engine or other parts

I highly recommend this place especially if you have an older vehicle or if you have had mechanics give you the runaround’s. I always tell everybody to focus on reviews and quality of a company versus monetary cost because you cannot Focus on cost versus quality. These people are amazing and I will be recommending them to everybody I know!!

Customer service where they listen and they actually care about their customers. I had a seal leaking on my trans and they were very upfront about the costs. I ended up having them rebuild my trans and it hasnt shifted this good since it was new 208,000 miles ago. They were quick and even went a extra mile to fixed another leak i was aware of without charging me. They are now my first go to repair shop and my first recommendation when asked if i know anyone.

Pleasant, fair and honest experience of being treated as a customer while at the Davie shop for a test drive on my 2001 Corolla and while on the phone the followed days for other concerns. Hamilton’s attentiveness and expertise helped me to walk through and diagnose and better determine if the issue at hand requires repair or not. Although they are in business to make a living, I positively felt that Gold Coast will not offer or push to get your transmission repaired unless necessary. I have a 04 Titan with a slide in camper approximately 2200lbs. Also tow a pontoon boat. My trans would heat up going uphill or at Highway speeds. Put an extra trans radiator and an oversized fluid pan with no good results. Having GC rebuild my trans was a great decision. I took my rig up to Tomoka State park on dirt roads, camp sits and highway driving. I’m very, very happy.

Have been going to the Ft Lauderdale location for a few years. They have worked on my two Lexus.

we own a 2014 dodge grand caravan, and start with transmission issues with no a lot of miles, living in Miami we have several option to fix it, everybody here offer a good price with only 1 year of warranty, when we call gold coast and spoke with Vincent, he offers a free estimate, 2 year of warranty, free towing from Miami to fort Lauderdale , and all of that for the about the same price of the other places here, he even fallow up with us to see how the car is doing and schedule a free check up at 500 miles, they also check our other car for free, very happy with the job and highly recommended.

I went to the Davie location on state rd 84. Hamilton and the staff there are very professional and knowledgeable. They find the problem and get straight to the solution quickly. My car runs great and have no complaints. This shop doesn’t try to cheat you out of your money and if they are not able to do anything required, they give great references. I would recommend anyone needing transmission work to go there. They are truly the best!!!
